A LAW firm with offices in Ross-on-Wye and Lydney has announced 19 staff promotions, including a record 11 new partners, as it continues to invest in developing talent.
Thrings, which has more than 300 years of legal heritage, confirmed its latest round of promotions across several departments, with a number of employees based in Ross and the surrounding area progressing into senior positions.
Among those celebrating is Gemma Goode, who works across the firm's Ross and Lydney offices and has been promoted to Partner in its Succession and Tax team.
Richard Reed, who also works across the two offices, has become a Partner in the firm's Residential Property team.
Meanwhile, Jessica Moore, based in the Agriculture litigation team in Ross-on-Wye, has progressed to Associate, while Moses Thompson, who works across Ross and Lydney, has been promoted to Senior Associate in Succession and Tax.
The promotions also included three new Partners in the firm's nationally recognised Agriculture team, with Richie Rees, Polly Ridgway and Claire Davies taking on senior roles.
For the first time in Thrings' history, two business services colleagues have also joined the partnership, with Jo Campbell, Head of Business Development, and Sophie Boxall, Head of Quality and Risk, receiving promotions.
Around half of those promoted originally joined the firm at the beginning of their legal careers, highlighting its focus on developing employees internally.
Simon Holdsworth, Managing Partner at Thrings, said: "This latest round of promotions, including a record 11 new Partners, reflects the strength of our business, the high-quality service we provide to clients, and the success of our people."
He added that it was particularly rewarding to see colleagues who began their careers at Thrings progressing into senior positions.
The firm operates seven offices across England, including Ross-on-Wye and Lydney, providing legal advice to businesses, individuals and families.
