A group of Travellers have moved into a car park in Ross-on-Wye over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The car park is owned by Herefordshire Council. A spokesperson for Herefordshire Council said: “We were notified today of an unauthorised encampment at Kings Acre Upper Car Park, Millpond Street, Ross-on-Wye.

Officers have visited the site today, April 3rd, along with carrying out the necessary welfare checks. A notice of eviction will be served in line with the council’s Travellers Policy.”
