Leading Cadet, Naomi Roberts, of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth Sea Cadets has been chosen to represent the Sea Cadets on two prestigous occasions next year.
Firstly she has been appointed a Lord Lieutenant Cadet for the County of Herefordshire, the Lord Lieutenant Lady Darnley presented her with a badge of office at a ceremony recently in Hereford.
Lord Lieutenant Cadets are selected from the four Cadet organisations, Sea Cadets, Army Cadets, Air Cadets and the Combined Cadet Force, and during her term of office Naomi will accompany the Lord Lieutenant at many functions and assist her during her duties.
The second achievement Naomi has made is that she has been selected to represent the United Kingdom Sea Cadets on an exchange visit to Bermuda.
Naomi has had a very successful year passing her Leading Cadet exams, and also her Advanced Catering Qualifications, she is now working towards the highest rank within the organisation as a Cadet, Petty Officer Cadet.
