Madam, I note in the latest edition of Ross Gazette that a walkway from the Persimmon development is soon to be provided. I further understand that it is to be along Tanyard Lane.

Notwithstanding the fact that the lane is very rough and potholed, this route is used by lorries accessing the industrial area at the end, some reversing as turning space is restricted. There are also several properties along the lane which have no vehicular access to Ledbury road other than using the lane.

Pedestrians exiting the development will have a restricted view due to fencing and conversely vehicle drivers will not see the pedestrians until they have stepped onto the lane. I trust there will be adequate warning signage of the accident waiting to happen.
