MADAM, THERE seems to be a news 'blackout' regarding what is going to happen to the services we get from swan house.
The existing Info Centre and the TIC are due to move from Swan House by the end of October this year, both these key services do not appear to have an agreed solution as to where they are to be relocated or how they will operate in future. I am lead to believe that the remodeling of Ross libary has been put on hold, if this is the case, the possibility of relocating further services to this site are very limited without major restrictions being placed on the existing facilities available.
If Herefordshire Council need help in funding our local services perhaps one idea would be to reduce the frequency, or better still remove completely, their propaganda publication, Herefordshire Matters, which I am sure you received a copy of during the last week.
No news is not always good news so can we be told what is going to happen to our local services.
