Local resident, Tony Johnson contacted the Ross Gazette to express his growing concern about the condition of the wall which lines Chase Road and Alton Street.

Mr Johnson is very worried that the sandstone wall has deteriorated rapidly in the past years. He said it has become markedly worse over the past few months.

The Ross Gazette contacted Herefordshire Council to discover who is reposibible for the wall and if anyone else has raised concerns. As we went to press, a spokesman for Herefordshire Council said they are checking the wall details with building control.
