In recent years Ross Golf Club member David Whitehead has acquired several Clubhouse Honours Board mentions which clearly reflects his effectiveness on the Gorsley-based course. However, he will probably most value the recognition and title of being 2014 Ross Seniors Champion, which he earned after the 14 handicapper delivered a near perfect 18 holes medal 'Rory' round to win the Club's Annual Seniors Championship, in which 89 members took part. After David's golfing standards slipped alarmingly he became the latest successful student to benefit from the Club's 'Tim Hall School of Golf'. David immediately dedicated his achievement to Head Professional, Tim Hall, as it was Tim's coaching investment which was responsible for a complete transformation in his game.
