The Under 9 Colts, under their new manager Ozzie Ravenhill, faced a determined Leominster side on Saturday, October 3rd, at the Ross-on-Wye Sports Centre, in a league fixture.

The boys started brightly with Ross terrorising their defence. Bailey and Euan both scored to give Ross a 2-1 lead at half time.

The second half saw Ross step up a gear. Jacob, when called on, was excellent in goal, ably supported by Rhys and Ollie B in defence. Daniel, the captain, worked tirelessly in the middle as Ross took control. Ted added to Ross’ score with a great solo goal and Alex made it four with the goal his performance deserved.

Leominster then made it 4-2 and Ross looked nervous until Noah and Ollie G made it a comfortable 6-2 and a fantastic start to Ozzie’s managerial career.
