The Hereford Scrumpy Boys over 50s football team played three group matches in the Gloucestershire walking football league on Thursday, December 8th.

The team lost their first game to last year’s winners, Abbeydale 3-1.

However, the Scrumpy Boys did not let this defeat hold them back for their next two matches. They beat Bristol A 2-0 and Bristol B 10-0.

Goals came from Mark Catlin (5) and braces each for Paul Gough, Mark Gwynne and Martin Brooks.

The team now lie in sixth position on the table.

Their next matches will be played on February 21st, 2017.
