The South Herefordshire Seniors ‘Christmas Cup’ was played in fine conditions and attracted 48 entrants. The results were as follows: Division 1 - 1st Brian Foley 39pts, 2nd Barry Howells 36pts, 3rd Michael Bain 36pts. Division 2 – Richard Hoare 38pts, 2nd Roy Pipe 37pts, 3rd Tony Haile 35pts.

The seniors also managed to extract their revenge for their away defeat at Monmouth earlier in the season. The final score was a 5-1 victory. There were wins for Eifion Rees & David Pipe 1up, Henry Rivers & Brian Spencer 5&4, Steve Mills & Tony Haile 2up, Jeremy Parkes & Roger Watkins 2 up, John Harper & John Barnett 6&4. The only loss was John Duvall & Geoff Eyres 2&1.
