The annual South Herefordshire Seniors Club Championship, held over two days, at their Ross-on-Wye course, was won by the Seniors’ Club Captain, Malcolm Connah.

The 46 entrants enjoyed a very competitive and challenging two days of golf with the course in excellent condition. Only six members managed to play to their handicap on one of the two days.

The first day’s results:

1st Mike Nash with 78-7=71

2nd Ashley Letts 101-28=73

3rd Philip Andrews 85-12=73

The second day’s results:

1st Martin Thompson 93-26=67

2nd Malcolm Connah 84-15=69

3rd Eifion Rees 90-18=72

Malcolm Connah 175-30=145 was the overall gross and net winner. Laurie Cork was the gross runner up also with 175 and the net runner up was Martin Thompson (147).
