Forty eight members of the South Herefordshire Seniors section braved the weather in support of the Captain’s Drive In recently.

The Greensomes stableford competition was won by Mick Proctor and Richard Hammett with 36pts. In second place, with 35pts, was Ken Tolley and Bob Hughes. Phil Andrews and Ian Fanning were third also on 35pts. The length of the "Captains Drive" was won by John Duvall. The day raised £460.00 for Sheppard House, the Captain’s charity.

The seniors team recorded their first victory of the season when winning 6-2 at home against Naunton Downs.
