Ross Golf Club’s Annual Patrick Curtis Mens’ Seniors Winter Pairs League always provides an ideal test for those who enjoy the cut and thrust of four-ball better ball golf.

As the 2017/18 season draws to its close, where the league’s 28 pairings aim to complete 10 matches each, the final league table will show the top pairs based on their best eight results, which is sure to reflect an exciting finish.

The 2016/17 Champions Club Captain, Kim Hampson and Club Vice Captain, Robert Tuttiett are hoping to make it back to back successes but are being chased down by Colin Price and Charlie Walker in the runners-up spot with 14 points each, followed by Steve Crooks and Mick Merrick with 12 points and Club President Doug Duncanson and Seniors Captain David Price and Barry Smith and David Beavan with 11 points each.

What is certain though is that Kim and Robert will be in the limelight again at Ross Golf Club’s forthcoming Annual General Meeting when Robert will succeed Kim as Ross Club Captain for the next 12 months after Kim’s highly effective year on all fronts.
