Following closely on the heels of the Solheim Cup in Scotland, where the European ladies scored an impressive win over America, the ladies from Ross Golf Club played in their own Rossheim Cup Competition on October 1st. 

Teams of 22 women representing Europe, captained by Josie Wilson, and America, captained by Lyn McCoy, played a mixture of foursomes, greensomes and singles matches throughout the day followed by a delicious afternoon tea. 

After a competitive and very enjoyable day, the European Ladies had to concede to a convincing win by the Americans.

An unexpected guest flew in to present the prizes and to congratulate the team.
