The South Herefordshire Seniors experienced a very enjoyable match at Bransford. The result was decided by the last pairings which meant a defeat for the visiting side 2.5 to 3.5.

Despite the high temperature, 47 members entered the July midweek medal and the scores reflected the first class course conditions. The balls were travelling a long way and therefore, the challenge to the golfers was to adjust. The pairs results were as follows:

Wins for Fred Cook & Graham Baum 5&4 and Geoff Eyres & Tony Haile 4&2. John Wynn and John Barnett managed to halve their match and there were losses for: Eifion Rees and Keith Nind 2&1 and Steve Mills and Brian Spencer 3&2.
