The final event in the annual programme of the Ross Golf Club’s men’s 55+ seniors section witnessed a 78 full start-sheet for their Christmas Singles 16 holes stableford competition.

Robin Henderson-Pugh (pictured above) top-scoring with 38 points, reproduced the form that made him Ross Club Huggett Putter Champion earlier this year. This meant he had the pick of the 40 Christmas Fayre prizes up for grabs. Phil Thompson also finished with 38 points just a few days after he was a major prize-winner in the Club’s Mens Christmas event.

Elsewhere, good scoring from Chris Good and Peter Cliffe with 37 point each brought festive rewards. Tim Lewis, 36 points, and Wref Digings, Allen Bartlett, and Doug Duncanson with 35 points each also won prizes with prizes available for all players able to muster 30 points or more.
