Following the recent Annual General Meeting of the Gorsley based Ross Golf Club, members from all sections were delighted to support their newly elected Club Captain, Martin Pimlow at his ‘Drive-in’ event.

The successful event kick-started Martin’s year at the club and was held in ideal weather conditions with a massive field of 172 members from all sections. Cheered on by his fans and spectators, Martin managed to successfully drive the ball 167 yards from the 1st tee which meant that recently retired Club President, Doug Duncanson, was the day’s first prize winner of the day in having the correct yardage against his name.See the full story in this week’s edition of the Ross Gazette, or subscribe to our online edition here
