Welsh Professional Golfer, Becky Morgan, who grew up in Ross-on-Wye, and was educated locally at the Haberdashers School in Monmouth, will have additional support and a special incentive when she plays next month in the US based LPGA Tour event which takes her to the ISPS Handa Vic Open in Melbourne Australia.
Becky often returns to the Wye Valley to visit her family and friends and in the past two years she has also found time to benefit through coaching at the Ross Club with Aimpoint Specialist Oil Leett and they are often in contact via ‘face-time’ which works well.
It so happens that Oli and his wife, Kathryn, and daughter, Esme, are holidaying in Melbourne when the Vic Ladies Open at the Thirteenth Links course takes place there from February 7th to February 11th, and Oli will accompany Becky each day as her caddie representing a new and exciting experience for him.
Becky was delighted to give Oli some special acknowledgement after winning her first major Tour Title last year at the Hero Women’s Indian Open and clearly she is aiming for a repeat performance in this unique opportunity for them to work together.
