THE ladies of South Herefordshire Golf Club won their match against Rodway Hill on Sunday April 3rd, on home territory.

They will now go through to the fourth Round of the Mail on Sunday Classic, after also beating Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye.

The day started brightly and warmer than it had been of late but rain was forecast during play. The course had recovered well after rain overnight Friday and Saturday morning. Again the ladies and their caddies from SHGC did the club proud and won the match to go through to the fourth round.

The rain forecast did not arrive to dampen their celebrations and a well earned lunch of sandwiches and chips.
