What should have been a home game for the team this week, turned out to be an away game due to the pitch being waterlogged and unfit to play. Despite the change in venue and the weather being rather wet and windy with the goals being blown away at one point Ross played a super game in which they should have at least got a draw.

Last time the two teams met in Hereford before Christmas Hereford out played Ross 6 goals to 1. This time Ross seemed to be determined not to allow Hereford to get away from them. Hereford are currently 6 places higher than Ross in the league and without a loss this season.

From the start Ross were determined to gain possession and take the ball to Hereford. The Defence of Kath Taylor Jessup soaked up a lot of the Hereford attack and with the combined force of Holy Belcher, Kate Handley and Gill Badham the ball was cleared well up pitch.
