After a busy Sunday competing in races on the canal in Gloucester, Ross Rowing Club Junior Academy swapped their sculls for skulls and enjoyed some spooky fun following their Halloween training session.

The young rowers were celebrating their first taste of competition this weekend at the Gloucester Autumn Head.

The club scooped two wins to add to wins at Evesham Junior Head two weeks ago. The club’s juniors travel to Henley next Saturday to take part in the prestigious Long Distance Sculls event over the iconic Henley Royal Regatta course.
