MONROSS Trailblazers were out in force at Run Hereford in aid of St Michael's Hospice on Sunday.

Rob Nicholls, fresh from a sub 2.47 London Marathon PB, won the 5k over a minute clear of a 213-field, in a blistering 17 minutes 16 seconds.

Vanessa Ward also put in a stellar performance in the 10km, taking fourth in her category and 12th fastest woman in 47.51 for 47th overall.

In the half marathon, Tony Davies continued his streak of running a half marathon every month for a year by smashing out a new PB of 1 hour 43.19, placing eighth in class and 86th overall.

Leah Marsden also showed grit and determination, crossing the line in 2.13.46 to finish 301st.

Blazers also headed for the AJ Bell Great Bristol Run the same day, Tom Walmsley setting a new half marathon PB 1.25.44.

Jake McBride also set a PB 1.31.13, while Martin Turner delivered a strong 1.37.33, Jess Rainey a cracking 1.46.23 and Els Thorne a PB 1.55.25 coming back from injury.

Tony Davies also represented the club at the recent Shakespeare Half Marathon, crossing the line in 1.45.49.
