A ROSS-on-Wye hairstylist recently enjoyed success at the UK Hair and Beauty Awards 2026.

Jade Scavetta, of Hair By Jade, initially represented Ross-on-Wye in the awards in March this year, and received recognition as a finalist.

She later attended Manchester’s AO Arena on Saturday, August 15 for the formal red carpet awards night and presentation. The hairstylist placed in the top 50 Winner UK Best for Blonde, Top 50 Winner for Colour Specialist and Highly Recommended Hairstylist of the Year.

Jade Scavetta, of Hair By Jade said: “What an amazing experience and achievement for my small business. It wouldn’t be possible without my partner for all his support with our three children. We make a great team while working and juggling the children between us.

“And of course, all my amazing clients who make my job special and enjoyable, just know I will always have your best interest with your hair at the centre of my heart. What a great evening, with great company and great entertainment.”

The awards were for people of all industries including those representing hair, nails, aesthetics, educational entrepreneurs, barbers and business branding.

It was a star-studded night with music performances from Tinchy Strider, Dappy, Professor Green, Fuse ODG, and Junior Andre. Other special guests included Katie Price and Princess Andre.

Jade added: “It was a very good evening and to be placed in those categories I entered was the icing on the cake after travelling three hours from Ross to Manchester, leaving my three children with their father (my partner), who has been so supportive in all this.

“It wouldn't have been possible without him in the journey and the expenses for the hotel. It was definitely worthwhile and I met so many amazing people. Everyone was supportive of everyone.”
