Ross Hockey Club Firsts played away at the weekend in a pre-season friendly, against Whitchurch E and won 6 - 0.
Ross pushed the ball to the Whitchurch players keeping the pressure on and causing the opposition to make a mistake, giving Ross possession of the ball early on. Midfielders, Tom Walton, Sam Warner, Kristian Franklin, Richard Steward and Matt Saunders ran rings around the Whitchurch players getting the ball to the attackers, Adrian Williams and Phil Evans, who made couple of attempts at goal.
