ROSS-ON-WYE will be treated to an evening of Latin rhythms and funky grooves when saxophonist and vocalist Kim Cypher returns to the town.

Kim Cypher’s Funky Latin Jazz Party will take place at the Corn Exchange Jazz Club on Thursday, November 12, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, with doors opening at 6.45pm.

The show promises a lively mixture of Latin and jazz alongside African beats, reggae and funk.

Cypher, an acclaimed saxophonist, vocalist and composer, will be joined by a band of UK jazz musicians.

The line-up features Chris Cobbson on guitar, Alex Steele on piano, Mike Green on bass and Mike Cypher on drums.

Organisers said the evening would offer an uplifting show packed with positive energy and feel-good music for jazz fans.
