A ROSS-ON-WYE pub is celebrating after securing a place in the Good Beer Guide for an impressive 33rd year.

The King’s Head Hotel, on High Street, has been included in the Campaign for Real Ale’s Good Beer Guide 2027, continuing a run stretching back more than three decades.

The historic former coaching inn dates back to the 14th century and is known for its traditional King’s Bar, as well as a glass-covered 60-foot well which forms a centrepiece of its dining area.

The hotel also has its own microbrewery, Corn Ales, run by brewer Rob Vidler in the adjoining Ross Corn Exchange.

Four hand-pulled traditional real ales are available at the King’s Head, including beers produced by its own brewery.

The annual CAMRA guide highlights pubs across the UK serving quality real ale.
