A MOTORBIKE rider has thanked three teenagers who came to his rescue after his machine ran out of fuel.
Harry Donnelly said he became stranded on September 23 when the youngsters, believed to be aged between 14 and 16, spotted him and asked what was wrong.
After hearing he had run out of fuel, the teenagers found a jerry can and collected enough petrol to help him reach a nearby filling station.
Harry praised their kindness, recalling one of the boys telling him: “It’s always good to help someone, you never know what they’re going through.”
He later posted his thanks on a Ross-on-Wye community Facebook group.
One parent responded to confirm her son and his friends had helped, saying she was pleased they had done a good deed.
