LAW firm Thrings has strengthened the team serving clients from its Ross-on-Wye office with the appointment of a new private client partner.

Sonia Green has joined the firm from Moore Barlow, bringing almost three decades of experience in succession and tax law.

She will lead Thrings’ private client team across its seven offices, including Ross-on-Wye and nearby Lydney, as well as Bristol, Bath, Swindon, London and Romsey.

Ms Green advises individuals, families and business owners on succession planning, estate administration and tax matters, including inheritance tax and estate planning.

Her work covers wills, trusts, powers of attorney and estate administration, as well as more complex cases involving vulnerable beneficiaries, blended families and planning for later life.

She also has extensive experience in farming succession, working with farmers, landowners and their families to protect rural businesses and plan for future generations.

Ms Green is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Association of Lifetime Lawyers.
