Mayor of Ross and the Ross & District Branch of the Royal British Legion, along with members of the public, gathered on Wednesday 14th June to commemorate the 41st anniversary of the liberation of the Falklands.

The flag-raising event, resonating with patriotic fervour, served as a touching tribute to a pivotal moment in British history. The Falklands, a small cluster of islands in the South Atlantic, were returned to British rule in 1982 after a short but intense conflict.
