GOODRICH 1sts secured midweek derby bragging rights with a thrilling last ball Forest Hundred win at Ross, Harry Mutlow firing a six, a four and a two in the last three deliveries to secure victory.
Batting first, Ross were 14-2 after wickets for James Morton and Jack Lewis, but a 70-run stand between the Element brothers Ben and Josh got the hosts on track, the latter scoring 42 before being bowled by Morton (84-3).
Support was then provided by Kiran Krishnan with 17 before holing out to Lewis off a Jack Waldis ball (116-4), with Ben Element carrying his bat for 41 in a 100-ball total of 122-4.
The hosts' Chris Keywood then took the Goodrich top order apart taking 4-23 as Goodrich were reduced to 25-4.
And when Krishnan bowled opener Harry Porter for 23 (56-5), Will Brookes snared Joseph Griffiths for two (58-6) and the former added Joseph Griffiths for 11 (67-7), Ross seemed in control.
Krishnan added his third wicket (89-8), but Mutlow was still there.
And with 14 required off the last five balls, he fired Goodrich to last-gasp victory, with his 35 runs coming off 26 balls.
Neither side had any luck at the weekend though, with Ross losing by six wickets at home to Ledbury 2nds, and Goodrich beaten by 48 runs by visitors Down Hatherley.
Alexander Springer and Chloe Tingle both scored 33s backed by Muhammed Noufal Fazaludeen 19 and Sachin Anil 12 as hosts Ross were 146 all out in 33.4 overs.
Ledbury then reached 150-4 in 34.3 overs, Tingle with two wickets and one apiece for Springer and Brookes.
Goodrich’s visitors scored 215-9 off 40 overs, James O’Brien with three wickets and Matt Young two.
But despite 53 from O’Brien and 33 from fellow opener Sam Griffiths, the hosts were all out for 167 in 37 overs.
Ross visit Monmouth in the Hundred tonight (Wednesday, June 3) while Goodrich visit Parkend.
