ROSS Juniors Women will compete in the Women's Adobe FA Cup for a third consecutive season after confirming their place in the prestigious national competition.
The Herefordshire club announced the news this week, describing their latest entry as a reflection of the hard work, dedication and progress made by players, coaches and volunteers both on and off the pitch.
Ross will begin their campaign in the Preliminary Round on Sunday, August 23, knowing victory would move them into the First Qualifying Round before a potential Second Qualifying Round tie on September 20.
Should they win both opening fixtures, Ross would stand just two stages away from facing clubs including Brentford and Southampton, who enter the competition at the Second Round Qualifying stage. It would represent another significant milestone for the ambitious side as they continue establishing themselves on the national stage.
The competition also carries added motivation after last season's campaign ended in the Second Round Qualifying stage against local rivals Gloucester City. Ross pushed hard but were unable to progress, making this year's campaign another opportunity to go one step further.
The Women's Adobe FA Cup begins with the Preliminary Round before progressing through qualifying rounds and the First Round Proper, with the Final scheduled for Saturday, May 15, 2027.
Club officials said they were delighted to be taking part once again in this competition, describing the achievement as recognition of the collective effort shown throughout the club.
They added they were looking forward to the challenge ahead and to representing Ross Juniors on another FA Cup journey
They hope supporters would once again get behind the squad as they chase another memorable run in one of English football's most prestigious knockout competitions this season with renewed belief and growing confidence throughout the squad and wider club community alike together.
