Ross Juniors Under 10 Girls started the the season with a superb display against Tupsley on Sunday, September 9th.

It was great to have some fresh faces joining the team from the successful wildcats initiative, which was run by the club at the end of last season.

The girls gelled together well, with some impressive passing that caused lots of problems for the opposition’s defence.

Goals were scored by Jess, Romerleigh, and Neve, with great debuts being made by Erin and Emilie. Holly worked hard in goal, with Layla, Charlotte and Leah doing their bit to hold off a battling Tupsley team, and Esme linking up play in midfield.

Molly, Amelia and Hollie make up the 13 girl squad, and have been training hard. They are set to play their first league game of the season on Sunday, September 16th, when the team take on the newly formed Ross Junior U10 Colts.

The girls were delighted to play in their brand new kit which was sponsored again this season by Beyond Storage, and would like to say a huge thank you to James Hay for renewing sponsorship of the team and their continued support for grassroots football.
